Altán Redes shall support reconstruction works with a donation of One million USD

Mexico City, September 21, 2017.-  Altán Redes, company responsible for the development of Red Compartida project, announces the donation of 1 million USD to support reconstruction works in the affected areas by the earthquakes on September 7 and 19 in Oaxaca, Chiapas, Mexico City, Morelos, Puebla, Guerrero, and the State of Mexico.

Altán Redes shows its solidarity to the Mexican people and victims.

About Red Compartida
Red Compartida is one of the most important telecommunications projects of recent years in Mexico. Red Compartida is a modern wholesale, neutral and non-discriminatory mobile broadband network in the 700 MHz band, which will increase the coverage of the most advanced 4G-LTE telecommunications services to at least 92.2% of the Mexican population. Its implementation is through a Public-Private Partnership signed between Altán Redes and the Promoting Agency for Telecommunications Investment (Promtel), which is part of the SCT. The project is totally self-financed privately.
