Mr. Salgado leads a team of more than 200 professionals whose focus is to maximize an effective use of spectrum with the Red Compartida. Prior to joining ALTÁN Redes, he served as President and Executive Director of Abengoa Bioenergy, a leading biofuels company and as Director of Operations in Telvant (currently Schneider Electric) a telecommunications and IT systems company.
Mr. Salgado holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Comillas Pontifical University (Spain) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra (Spain).
Ms. Prieto currently oversees ALTÁN Redes’ Public Affairs, Regulatory and Legal strategies.
Prior to joining ALTÁN Redes, she was Senior Representative in Mexico of Lippincott & Margulies and of the Canadian Fund CDPQ, the latter current ALTÁN Redes shareholder.
She worked in an investment bank in New York and Mexico, and had different positions in Mexico’s Central Bank (Banco de México) and in the Department of Budget Programming (Secretaría de Programación y Presupuesto) of the Mexican federal administration.
Prieto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Mexican Autonomous Technological Institute (ITAM) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.
Mr. Alemán is an executive with more than 18 years of experience in the media and telecommunications industry. For the last 10 years, Mr. Alemán served as CEO for Millicom in Tigo Rwanda, Tigo Tanzania and Tigo El Salvador. He is passionate about telecommunications and its role in digital transformation, especially for the impact it has on creating a better society with access to digital tools and services for all.
Mr. Alemán is an Industrial Engineer graduated from the Military Engineering School (EMI) in Bolivia with a Master’s degree in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
Mr. Bellido is responsible for overseeing the deployment of the Red Compartida throughout the Mexican territory. With more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. Mr. Bellido has worked also in leading financial services’ leading-edge companies.
Prior to joining ALTÁN Redes, he developed projects such as the National Autonomous University´s (UNAM) network. He was Chief Technology Officer in Avantel and headed the Latin American telecommunications operations of Banamex (Citigroup). As GTAC’s CEO, one of his biggest accomplishments was deploying and managing 15,000 km optical fiber network for GTAC.
He is a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.
His deep, strategic knowledge and experience has added an important business vision to Multitel -managing, strategic and financial shareholder of Red Compartida- as well as to ALTÁN Redes since its bidding process in 2016.
He has 25 years of experience as a consultant and partner of the international firms McKinsey and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Mr. Borges holds a Business degree from Deusto University at Bilbao (Spain) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Stanford University.
Mr. Olivieri has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has worked in executive positions at Brazilian companies such as GVT, Oi & TIM.
He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from CEFET-PR (Brazil) with a Master’s degree in Networks and Distribution Systems.
Olivieri also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the PUC-PR (Brazil) and has studies in Financial Management from Wharton School (USA).
Mr. Domené has more than 10 years of experience in telecommunications business consulting in companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) & Deloitte. In Ericsson, Mr. Domené was in charge of Information Technology Pre-Sales for Iberia and América Móvil.
Mr. Domené holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in Information Systems and Telecommunications Management from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
Mr. Cabredo´s experience has led him to executive positions in financial planning and finances. Mr. Cabredo has worked in companies such as Bufete Industrial and Maxcom Telecomunicaciones, where he served its CFO.
He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Piura (Perú), as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from IPADE Business School.
He has more than 18 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance. Mr. Marzo worked at ING Bank and Barclays bank in different positions such as Project Finance Director and Middle Market Director for Spain and Portugal.
As Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), he was involved in important restructuring operations.
Mr. Marzo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in Business Administration from the IE Business School (Madrid).
Mr. Ortíz-Cavañete has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and infrastructure industry in more than 15 countries.
Mr. Ortiz-Cañavate served as Organization and Human Resources Director of British Telecom in Latin America and as Director of Corporate Resources at ONO.
Mr. Ortiz-Cañavate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Commas Pontifical University (Spain) and studied the High Direction Program in Administration at IESE University of Navarra (Spain).
Mr. García-Moreno has more than 10 years of experience in the Technology-Media-Telecommunications industry and 8 years in the consulting sector.
He held positions in Booz&Co, OliverWyman, and Delta Partners, working with mobile and fixed-line operators in Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Mr. García-Moreno holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree from the Technical University of Madrid and a Master´s in Business Administration from the IESE-University of Navarra (Spain).
Mr. Miranda has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and retail sectors. Mr. Miranda worked in Banamex (Citigroup), Banorte, BBVA-Bancomer, BNP-Paribas and Walmart in different areas including ethics, internal auditing, compliance and risks management.
Mr. Miranda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM), and a Master’s in Business Administration from the IE Business (Spain). He also completed an Executive Management Program at Wharton School (Japan).
Ms. Fernández has been a Strategy consultant for over 10 years in the telecommunications sector for Fortune 500 companies in Spain, Brazil, Middle East and Mexico.
She has a Management and a Law degree, both at Comillas University (Spain), a MBA from UCLA (U.S.) and from IESE School from Navarra University (Spain).
